With an interest in cars from an early age, it was inevitable that they'd form the basis of my life.  I spent my late teenage years spending time and far too much money on cars, keeping them clean was a passion, at one point polishing my car twice a week!  Later, 12 years of motor trade experience as a new and used car salesman taught me that not everyone shares the same passion for cleaning a vehicle, even when they're being paid to do it

The idea of creating my own valeting/detailing business had formed over a decade ago, but the time just wasn't right to set up a fully functional professional car care service.  With a fully equipped van, I'm now able to offer quality service at your home or work location, and with an on-board water supply, the only things you need to provide are access to a power supply and a place to work.

There are three basic types of car owners when it comes to washing/ valeting/ detailing...

• Those who simply don't care, an automatic carwash will do twice a year
• Those who'll throw a bucket of water over it once a month, probably using a squirt of washing up liquid, or letting the 'hand car wash' guys do it for eight quid
• Finally, there are those who not only like valeting a car, they ENJOY it... the rare breed... the OCD... People like me, who think nothing of spending hours cleaning every detail of a car

True, there are cheaper ways to keep a car clean, with a 'hand car wash' on almost every street these days.  The problem with nearly all of these is that the people working there are paid a small amount per car they clean, so they need to clean many cars to earn a living.  The result is a very fast wash, with little care and attention paid, and using some of the harshest chemicals available to make their job easier

After spraying your car with a paint-thinner-related substance, they'll happily use a ragged sponge or mitt full of dirty water to wash it.
